Greetings Turtles

Ready or not, the end of the season is coming so we have lots of information to share so please read this email carefully.

Tomorrow’s meet – Hawaiian theme:

• Please let us know ASAP by completing the RSVP in SwimTopia if your Boy swimmer will not be participating in tomorrow’s meet against Yorklyn.
• There are still several volunteer jobs remaining for the meet tomorrow. Please look over the list and sign up to help, especially if you have a boy swimmer and have not volunteered at a meet yet - it takes a village!
• Reminder - you can only signup for something by logging into your SwimTopia account on the website, you can't do so in the app.

Monday’s practice:

• Our team picture will be taken Monday at 9am for all Turtles, including minis. Please send your swimmer in their team suit if possible. If you don’t have a team suit this year’s team t-shirt would be great.
• A copy of the picture form is attached to this email and they will also be available Monday morning. Susan Patch, the photographer, will be there at 8am to take individual swimmer or sibling pictures and if need be will take them after the group shot at 9am as well.
• Monday is also Tie Dye day! Please remember to send your swimmer with a white t-shirt AND a Ziploc bag with their name on it. The plan is to have the swimmers wear them to the meets next week.
• All practices Monday might be slightly adjusted and shorter than normal, we’ll send out more info if need be over the weekend about practices - thanks for your flexibility.

Banquet:

• Our banquet will be held on Wednesday, July 21^st in the early evening at the pool.
• More information will be shared soon about how to register your attendance, how to pay for non-swimming siblings, parents and guests and what time to arrive.
• Our minis meet will take place that night as will our trophy and award presentation and end of year slide show. If you have any pictures to share for the slide show, please email them to [email protected].

Other items:

• The SSL end of season timed meet will be held on Sunday, July 18^th at Wedgewood Pool. Girls will be in the morning and boys in the afternoon. The event looks a little different than typical Championships, so we’ll send a separate email with lots more information by Sunday; entries are due by next Wednesday.
• After tomorrow we have two remaining meets – Wednesday is Girls at Home versus Persimmon Creek when we will recognize our seniors at the break, so all are encourage to attend. Boys are away versus Persimmon Creek on Saturday, July 17^th.
• We will be collecting monetary donations for end of season gifts for our awesome coaches. Later today there will be an envelope at the pool marked Swim Team Coaches for you to add what you’re comfortable with or you can Venmo Lauren Simione @Lauren-Simione (last four cell 0966) and say "Thank you" in the memo.
• Ribbons for all meets so far this season were dropped off at the pool today. There's a bin with a folder for each family where ribbons are left. A guard can help you if the bin is not out on the table near the entrance and it is usually out during practices as well.
• All meet/event times are loaded into SwimTopia as well which can be easily accessed through the app. It's a great way to see your swimmer's improvement throughout the season.
