Greetings Turtles!

Here are this week's updates and important items:

Meet, Wednesday, June 30:

• FFC BOYS versus Bluefish at home
• Please let us know by 4pm Tuesday if your swimmer is NOT swimming Wednesday by using the RSVP sign-up in SwimTopia for the FFC Boys vs Bluefish event
• Please sign up to help during the meet by using the job sign-up in SwimTopia for the FFC Boys vs Bluefish event
• Good news! We've received the permit to be able to make and sell food at our remaining meets so we'll be selling hamburgers and hot dogs at Wednesday's meet.  
  • There is a food sign-up in SwimTopia for items like ice, $ donations and watermelon and more items may be posted Tuesday - thank you!
• Please have your swimmer at the pool by 5pm Wednesday - this week's theme is PJs for those interested.
• SSL lifted all mask requirements for swimmers and volunteers. All those unvaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask, but it is not required.  

Fun Practice & Pancakes:

• All practices Friday, July 2nd will be fun practices! The first half of each practice will be fun game and the second half the kids can eat yummy pancakes and sign posters for Victoria on the food deck.
  • If you're interested in helping make pancakes at the pool for one or more practices please text Lauren @ 302-545-0966. 

Tie Dye Fun:

• Monday, July 12th will likely be practices and a fun tie dye activity. We'll send more information soon, but if you're out and about this next week and can grab an all white t-shirt for your swimmer to dye you'll be ready! The swimmers will likely wear them to the meets on July 14th and 17th.

Banquet:

• We are considering Wednesday, July 21 or Saturday, July 24th for the end of season banquet and would like your input. Please complete the survey linked here -  https://forms.gle/mwPnNWLxeXYkN3Q29 - to share your availability for both dates. 
  • In addition to dinner, trophy/award presentations and a photo slideshow from the season, we'll hold the Minis Meet and also some fun Olympics-style games and fun pool events for kids and parents. The cost of swimmers is covered by their registration fees; there will be a charge (still TBD) for parents and siblings. More information and how to register for the banquet will be sent as soon as the date is solidified.

Apparel Sale Survey:

• We're working on an apparel sale with the same vendor we used for our team shirts and would love your input on potential items to sell. In the same survey linked above you'll find one question about apparel - share your ideas, please! This will be made available to the entire pool with all proceeds going to the swim team.

Fourth of July weekend marks the halfway point of our season. Thank you all for your patience and support as we've navigated this unique season.
