Hi Turtles

We sent an alert out earlier, but just to be sure everyone saw it - Due to inclement weather, all practices Friday, June 11 are cancelled.

We look forward to seeing everyone Sunday for the Blue Gold practice meet. A few notes:

Please arrive to the Blue Gold Meet at 8am on Sunday. Coaches will split all swimmers into two teams, Blue and Gold, and warmups will start not long after arrival so we can get everyone in and try to start as close to 9 as possible. 

Everyone: If you have not already, please declare your swimmer(s) by using the Event Sign-up in SwimTopia. It's especially important to let the coaches know if your Turtle is not attending so they can make the line-ups accordingly. Please try to do this ASAP.

Returning families: Your help is needed! If you have not already, please sign up for a volunteer role for Sunday's Blue Gold meet. New families, this is your chance to watch the meet and get more familiar with how they go.

Everyone: Please use the Blue Gold Food Sign-up form to sign-up for items to sell in the Turtle Shell concession area during the meet. The team uses food sales as a way to earn money to help cover expenses related to running the season. All food sold this year must be prepackaged or bought at a food establishment - nothing can be prepared at home or in the Turtle Shell.

Younger and newer swimmers will be signed up for the events our coaches feel they can try.

The Blue Gold meet will run in the order of a traditional event, but without relays. The order of events was included in the packet emailed on Thursday, June 10th.

We will send out a notification tomorrow, Saturday, when the health check is ready to be completed.

After the Blue Gold meet, any interested Turtles who want to stay at the pool and decorate spirit posters for the first meet can bring a poster and markers to do so. FFC Swim Reps will be supplying popsicles.
